Multisim: -

multisim is one of the most powerful and complete electronics software using which one can simulate most of the circuits. The latest versions of multisim supports 8051 based and PIC16F84 based project simulation also. So i think this is complete virtual electronics lab.

UMPS: -

UMPS is perhaps most efficient virtual simulator for simulating the programs of 8051/52/2051/4051, PIC micro controllers, HC micro controllers, AVR micro controllers etc. it provides perfect platform for simulating real time applications. it has wide verities of peripherals to connect with micro-controllers like in display there are LED, matrix LED, alpha numeric display, all type of LCD etc. other peripherals like ADC, DAC, serial transmitter-receiver, function generator, I2C memory, I2C display, PWM converter, digital recorder and player, shift register etc. are given to design any embedded system. With the help of umps one can create virtual 8051 training board on his computer’s desktop. He can simulate all kind of programs by connecting required resources like 7 segment display, Matrix LED, LCD, Matrix keyboard and all he wants.

KEIL(IDE): -

keil is cross compiler using which one can develop assembly language programs of various micro-controllers of Atmel, Dallas, cygnal, genisys etc in C language. Now a days most of the embedded systems are design using various cross compilers only, and KEIL is most widely used for this purpose.

Userport driver: -

To excess LPT port in window 98 OS is very simple, but it is not possible in windows NT, 2000, XP and all upgraded OS because they lock all external ports. to open this lock one needs driver. userport is one such driver.

this is visual basic based software that can be used to get the datasheets of most of the digital IC of 74XX and 40XX series.
